These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StratosTrader (the "Service"), an automated grid-trading tool that connects to your own Alpaca brokerage account. By checking the acceptance box at signup, or by continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by the Risk Disclaimer, which is incorporated by reference.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Subject to these Terms, StratosTrader grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal or internal trading purposes, for as long as your account remains active and in good standing.
You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:
You connect your own Alpaca brokerage account and API keys. You are solely responsible for all trading activity that occurs in your brokerage account, including activity initiated by the Service on your behalf per your configuration. We store your API keys encrypted at rest and never display them back to you or log them in plaintext, but we cannot control or guarantee the security practices of your brokerage or its API.
Use of the Service is billed per the pricing then in effect for your account, as shown on your dashboard, and charged to the payment method on file per billing cycle. Fees already accrued for trades executed are non-refundable.
You may stop using the Service and disconnect your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or as described in the Risk Disclaimer's uptime and availability language. We may also suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used in violation of Section 3.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, as further described in the Risk Disclaimer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StratosTrader and its operator will not be liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will bump the version shown above; you will be asked to re-accept the current version the next time you log in before the Service will run your bot.
